Our quilt group meets every Tuesday at Northeast Christian Church, from 10:00 to 1:00. The Church is located at 9900 Old Brownsboro Road, Louisville, Kentucky 40241. 502-426-6668
There are no dues to attend. We have everything you need to make a quilt, including sewing machines.
Ruth will set the room up for February.
Activities:
February 17th, Julie will demonstrate making a stitched spider's web for a embellishing.
February 24th, Shirley will lead us on an outing to 2 local quilt shops, lunch and a visit to the Oldham County Historical Museum where we will see a quilt exhibit called "Women's Work".
Deloris will set the room up for March.
March activities:
March 3, Joan will demonstrate an embroidery stitch
March 5 through 7 Indiana Heritage Quilt Show
March 6, Jennifer will have her gallery opening for her art work.
March 10, Pat will demonstrate an embroidery stitch
March 17, Sheelah will demonstrate an embroidery stitch
March 20, Quilts are due to Quilter's Day Out for Judging
March 21, Quilter's Day Out
March 24, Ruth will demonstrate an embroidery stitch
March 31, Mary will demonstrate an embroidery stitch
Dot will set the room up for April.
April 7th, Show N Tell/Airing of the Quilts. Bring any quilt with embroidery on it.
April 14, Joan will demonstrate how to make a rope basket.
Joan will set the room up for May.
May 12, Joan, Carol, and Julie will demonstrate rug making techniques.
May 19, Show and Tell/Airing of the Quilts-bring any quilt you have made as a group exchange/effort to show.
Sheila V. will set the room up for June.
June 9, Betty will plan our trip to Lavenders and Kings.
June 18 to 20 The 40th Annual National Quilter's Association Quilt Show in Columbus, Ohio.
Carol will set the room up for July.
July 21, Party at Shirley's House. Bring your completed top from the fabric handed out last year-surprise us!
