We really are blessed with many opportunities for sharing our quilting skills. Whether it's to enter a show or to learn a new pattern, we are not letting any moss grow under our feet this first half of 2010. You don't have to participate in anything you don't want to. All our activities are optional, including the quilt show.
Our schedule is as follows until the end of July:
Friday, July 8-we will have a regular Sit n Sew in room 202. We might also leave a little early and catch the sale at Forget Me Knot.
BIG BIRTHDAY SALE!!! Friday and Saturday, July 8 & 9. All fabric will be $7 per yard (1/2 yd. minimum cut). Pre-cut fat quarters will be $1.75! YOU DON'T WANT TO MISS THIS!
Tuesday, July 12 - Shirley will be teaching the Travel Bag that she taught before. room 201
Friday, July 15 - Regular Sit n Sew in room 202
Tuesday, July 19 - Regular Sit n Sew in room 201
Friday, July 22 - Regular Sit n Sew in room 202. The Jingle Bell Hop begins with several quilt shops participating.
Tuesday, July 26 - Christmas in July party is in the Lower Level. Carol and CeCe are hosting the party this year.
Please bring:
1. Your dish you signed up to bring for the party.
2. Two quilts for the Elizabethtown Quilt show, September 23 and 24. I will take a picture and print it out to attach to the form for insurance purposes, and mail them in.
Or if you would like to enter a wearable art piece that would be great.
3. Two forms for the quilts you would like to enter-filled out
4. Ten Dollars total, for the 2 quilts to enter in the show to cover insurance.
5. Your log cabin quilt. The block was chosen at the Christmas party last year now it's time for the "unveiling".
