It's been a long time since our Christmas Party. I think we had a meeting scheduled after that, but the weather was too bad for us to make it to church. Even though the snow was still on the ground and it was darn cold, we got to see each other and it was good. By the way, notice the completely clean cabinet. We've been together for 10 years now and it has never been completely emptied and cleaned. We sent a bunch of things home with member and the rest is going to Goodwill. We did keep the sewing machines of course, irons and we still have everything you need to make a quilt.
The girls have been busy with a wide variety of projects. The most popular quilt to make in our group is the One Block Wonder Encore pattern. Here Mary has made a couple more.

There are endless designs you can make with this pattern. Here you can see 2 different looks made from the same material.

We took four hours and one quick lunch break to learn how to align the fabric, cut the triangles and sew the half hexagons. The interesting thing to me was how 2 sets
of ladies chose the same fabric for the class. Oh well, with this design there is no possibility of them being similar,
24 inches. It will be interesting to see how hers turns out and really they all are so interesting, it's just that no one has a repeat that large.
